I have an Indian passport which is expiring in Aug'18 and i am working on getting it renewed. I am changing my residence again in 2 months as i am staying in a rented apartment.
My question - is it ok to have a passport address where i am not going to stay after 2 months. I want to get it renewed as early as possible considering my AOR came on 18th July, 2017 and i may be asked for the passport by IRCC any time soon.
If IRCC asks for passport only after all background checks have been carried out, what significance does the "address" field in the passport carry? Also consider future scenario while staying in Canada on a PR?
