it boost your chance of getting visa, in a way it proves to VO you financially OK and able to pay for fees.

sometimes they refuse visa , stating they not satisfy you financially ok or able to pay tution fees without having to work while in canada.

if possible pay whole first semster fees. provided school confirm you will get your money back if cic not approve visa

good luck

Of course it doesn't means anything... You need proof of financial support... For me that you have payed only 30% would rather mean you really have no money to pay for the full tuition...

But it depends for example although you have payed you first semester tuition but only have around 10000 additionally they might refuse you visa because you haven't showed you have enough money during your stay in Canada...

On the other hand even you haven't payed anything at all but showed you have 80000 CAD available for your studies the officer most likely is gonna say this guy has enough money to sustain himself...

@Camani, i really appreciate. Though initially i was only thinking of to pay the 30% tuition fee and present reboost sponsor account statement (in times of cash flow), which i heard holds strong chances too.

Though with your advice , i will probably try and pay-up the 1st year tuition fee since mine is a 2years course and the tuition is refundable too, just that in most cases the refund takes time.

Any other advice for me?, i will welcome that.
thanks

@wolfpmd3, you have great point there, meaning the 30% payment is not awesome at all? ok. Sorry i Didnt get what you meant by having 10,000$ ?do u mean after i most have paid the full tuition and still have left on sponsor financial purse ?

in what way can one present the 80,000$ ? is it by having it in a fixed deposite in my name in an account or my sponsor having upto that in the Account which inturn serves as the finacial support?

thanks
