Hello, I am currently on my PGWP which is valid till Jan 2026, when I had applied for it I only got 2 and half years on my permit as my passport was expiring in Jan 2026, my pgwp states that i can apply for an extension after renewing my passport if I want to. I am currently in the pool waiting for CEC at score 529 so I'm just waiting for the next draw but because there have been no draws for the past few months, I am wondering if I should consider utilizing the extension option (I got my passport renewed so I'm good on that front). Is it a good idea to apply for the extension as a backup now or should I wait for a few months and see if CEC draws start again maybe post elections? Thank you!
