Hello,

I have some questions regarding how will immigration officer check my employment history.
One of my previous work experience in USA is one year which i did not file for tax, so i am just wondering if they will check with INS to see if my employment is genuine? I do have letter from my superior and the accountant as a proof that i have worked with that company before. The company was shut down last year therefore the accountant told me that i no longer able to get the pay slip, so she decided to write me a letter as a subsitute for the pay slip. Apart from that, i work for another company which belong to my relative, but the company was not registered when i was working there but it has been registered about a year ago. I have sent in my application and i didn't know about that untill a month ago. I have pay slips and all the documents needed to proof that i have worked with this company. Under the circumstances, will the immigration officer check the background and time of registration of the company?
I really hope somebody will be able to help me asnwer my questions. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
They can and in many cases do check your employment history.

The truth is what you need to provide, because if you are caught there are consequences.

The VO have a way of knowing if it is genuine or not. If you are telling the truth then there is nothing to worry about. If the VO wants more evidence then he/she will call for an interview. ;)
