How does CIC evaluate one's mentioned work experience?

I've worked as a bookkeeper in a chartered accountancy firm for over 2 years in a firm and subsequently worked in my family business for a year.
I do not have any documents to prove such employment. However, I can ask my previous employer to provide me any documents as necessary.

I do not have a crystal clear answer for your query, but have heard that normally the company's website is looked into, at times (not always) a physical inspection of the company, 1-2 calls to the HR to verify if the applicant was an employee there or not etc etc. If your work experience is legitimate, then there is no reason to be concerned about. If it still bothers you, you can showcase documents such as Offer Letter, Experience Letter, Tax documents, Payslips, but then again these are NOT MANDATORY. CIC only mandates to provide a Reference Letter keeping CIC's requirements in-tact. Good luck.
