I am in New Zealand and I want to ship some of my stuff to Canada when I move there but its to heavy for a suitcase, does anyone know how to go about this? I looked into renting a container on a ship but it costs thousands..... what do you suggest?

You can always look for shipping companies who would take your personal things in shared containers so you actually pay by the cubic meter.
