How do I work in Canada after graduating from college without a PGWP?

Hi, I already applied for a PGWP years ago after graduating from a 4-year program at UBC.

The problem is I was conscripted by the S.Korean military, and my PGWP is no longer valid.

After I complete a college degree, I will no longer be able to apply for a PGWP (because you can only apply once in a lifetime).

How do I work after graduating from college? Since my program has a practicum, should I try to negotiate a work position with my company for a work permit/LMIA?

You would need to qualify for a closed work permit, which does require a job offer and approved LMIA. So yes, that's the path you would have to take. Unfortunately you can only be approved for a PGWP once in a lifetime.

Thanks!
So I guess my only option is to bank on the practicum taking me on as a worker?
If they decide not to take me as a worker, do I need to leave Canada and apply from S. Kor?

I'm not sure what you mean by the second part. If you want to work after you finish your studies, then you need an LMIA and job offer regardless of whether you apply from Canada or South Korea.
