How do I get information about my application?

Hello again! a

I was just wondering about how I am going to hear back about my sponsorship application? We sent in our whole package on the 20th of September, Honestly I'm not expecting to hear back super soon. That is not so much what I'm curious about. More so do they mail me something, call me? send an email? Is there a way to track any of this? Or is that only an option once you have been approved as a sponsor?

Its far too soon for an ATIP request. They only fiked two weeks ago. It takes Mississauga usually a month to open mail. So you will get an Acknowledgement either by mail or email (if you included one) once they have set your case up in GCMS. That will include UCI and Application numbers that you'll need to identify yourself and your case.

You can request GCMS notes, but I'd wait a few month for them to even get started.

I waited 2 months until they e-mailed me letting me know that I got approved for sponsorship. But currently it takes about a month for them to process the sponsorship part. You probably won't hear from them until then.
