Hi all,

I have couple of IELTS attempts' scores which are
1. LRWS - 7.5/9/6.5/7
2. LRWS - 7.5/8/6/7.5

Though the overall bands are 7.5, the scores put me in CLB8 and my CRS score is just 406. I got to know from calculator that a job offer could give me additional 50 points. So when I apply for the job openings, should I mention something about Express Entry profile in my Resume? If so, how to do it strategically that the Employers and Interviewers get to know that a job offer can get me a Visa. Or without a work permit or Visa, will my profile be rejected right away?

Will the employers and interviewers be aware of the Express Entry system and the importance of the job offer's advantage when applying for Visa?

A job offer isn't enough to get 50 additional points under Express Entry. The employer also needs to obtain an approved LMIA. Generally speaking, it's next to impossible to find employers willing to go through the LMIA process since it's so long and expensive with no guarantee of approval.

I would recommend you look into other ways to increase your score or look into other immigration programs (e.g. PNP).

Thanks for your recommendation!
So, you mean to say that finding job is possible only when we hold a PR Visa?
Ok technically you can find cases where people got LMIA. It was usually one of these scenarios:

1. A very rare specialisation that is very hard to get (like a Nobel prize nuclear physicist).
2. They were working for that employer for some time - for example using their PGWP or working holiday. The employer was highly satisfied and went for LMIA process.
3. "Employer" is usually a family or a close friend (distant family) of that person, so they went for LMIA.
4. No real employer was behind, only a shady company that did agree to go for the process - of course against hefty payment

Otherwise employers will not bother for a process that is not certain.
