I am now applying for a work permit in Toronto as a postdoctoral researcher. Currently, I am a Doctoral Researcher, and my manager is my supervisor.
The documents that I need to upload contain three (seemingly similar) items: Employment Records, Employment Reference Letter, and Letter from Current Employer.
When I obtain my employment records from the HR Office, doesn't it show my financial profile, my duties and my annual income already? I don't see how it is different than a letter I get from my current employer. Moreover, Employment Reference Letter and Letter from Current Employer will be written by the same person. What are the differences between them?
