How can we Send for Immigration any support document

I have a PR application from inside canada under the familly class, we sent it on April.2008, but ob oct.2008 they transfered it to a Local CIC and they told us that they need more one year to finish the first stage approval.

It seem like Immigration officer he is not sure about our relation, we live togather and love each other, my wife have two kids from a previous relationship, I am planing to adopte them soon.

My quastion

I cant hire a lawyer, and we are thinking to send for immigration supported document or letters, we dont how we can write and what we can do to support our application and to make the picture more clear to immigration officer.

-Do you have any document that you have submitted the application? If yes, attach a copy of that with your new documents. This will help the immigration officer to identify your file.
If you do not have any sort of document or receipt, write a letter mention your full name, your partner's full name, date of birth (both of you). Try to provide information as much as possible. This will help them to identify your application.
Now, make copies of your new documents, photos or whatever you want to add your file. Then post the package to the mentioned CIC office.
