Hey everyone,
I have a question for the common law sponsorship. Today with my partner we become officially common law partners
We are trying to fill the Statutory Declaration of Common law union.
My partner update today online his profile at revenue Canada from single to common law. However when he called to request the Option C printout they told him that as the printout will be for 2014 it will show as marital status: single. They told us they cannot provide us with any other document showing that he changed his status and they suggested to make screen shots from his online profile.
Does that mean we can tick yes on the Statutory declaration that we have declare our common law union under the Canadian Income Tax?
Thank you and good luck with everyone's applications
