I mean we are required to bring passport, stamps translation to the interview, along with the CBSA report these 3 pieces are the most official and authentic residence proof, so why does CIC still bother to send out post-test RQs?
Flocan said:« stamps translation »? Where is that required?
Flocan said:That was his opinion, not a fact and nothing specified in manuals, guidelines fron CIC
The short answer is because one may have left Canada for sometime using another passport he's not declaring and through US without being recorded by CBSA. If you drive through the south border, there is no stamp.chelavnzuo said:what I was asking is how a satisfied and consistent record from passport + stamps translation + CBSA report may still give people RQ?
Flocan said:No no its ok, do not worry
Do you know how long after file transfer to local office you received the questionnaire?
Flocan said:Really? One month after disappearance of Receive line or one month after real transfer to local office (since there is a difference)
Got RQed because 2 days of unemployment which was actually job transition? That is absolutely ridiculous. Is there any other reason you could think of that may trigger your RQ? for example a lot of foreign stamps, long stay at another countries?Happygolucky_again said:One more reason can be if you are "unemployed" at sometime. I got RQed and my suspicion is that I got it because of that as I was unemployed for 2 days (actually I was transitioning jobs). A better word to use may be "Homemaker". Hope this helps. My wife used Homemaker and she did not get RQed.
