How can my prospective boss apply to an accelerated LMO (A-LMO)?

Hi,

I have a job offer in Vancouver, BC. I would like to be in Canada as soon as I can. Is there any way that my prospective boss can make the application an accelerated one? Which are the requirements for the company to do the A-LMO? Can something be done, with a good lawyer perhaps, so to avoid the longer processing of the regular LMO?

Thank you guys, thank you very much.

Pre-Assessed..
A lawyer won't help to reduce the processing time.

Your employer can check if he/she meets the eligibility criteria for an A-LMO by reviewing the following information from HRSDC's website:

http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/eng/workplaceskills/foreign_workers/almo/factsheet.shtml

In brief:

(1) the job must fall under NOC 0, A or B; and

(2) the employer must:

- have been issued at least one positive LMO in the previous two years;
- have a clean compliance record with the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP)within the last two years;
- have agreed to all of the attestations included in the A-LMO application, and consent to participate in a post A-LMO compliance review;
- not have been the subject of an investigation, infraction or a serious complaint, and
- not have any unresolved violations or contraventions under provincial laws governing employment and recruitment.
