my application for a Canadian study permit was refused due to concerns about my intent to leave Canada after my study period, and uncertainties about my financial ability to support my stay and education in Canada without the need to work. Note: I have not submitted the study plan, I am learning this now. I would like to ask: What steps can I take to strengthen my application for the next submission?

How long is the program? Did you pay tuition? How much in funds did you personally show? Did you show career and education progression to justify costs?

The program is 8 months.

I have paid $4,000 of the total cost which is $14,000.

I have shown around $24,000 which is the tuition fee and $10,000 for the cost of living.

You have to show that you are expanding on your education. If you have a degree, it must be a post grad program. You then show that it will give you better career opportunities with higher pay to justify costs. So show promotion or show that you will make xx more than you do now.

So you have $34k in cash in your name, not someone else’s name? And you still need to pay another $10k in tuition.

As long as it is in a personal cash account, and you can go to an ATM and withdraw money. The money must be readily available.
