How can i show proof of fund?

Plz seniors..who got already visa....Can u tell me how do i show my proof of fund? I mean bank balance,or bank statement for how many months,or share?Can anyoneone tell me in details..We are two member.

The exact mechanism is given in the "Visa Office Specific Instructions"
According to Colombo, Sri lanka Visa Office specific instructions document,


"SETTLEMENT FUNDS
Refer to the "Proof of Funds" section of our Web site for exact figures and
instructions.
Provide proof of unencumbered and readily transferable funds in a convertible
currency available for settlement in Canada (for you and your family members):
• current bank certification letter; or
• evidence of savings balance; or
• fixed or time deposit statements."

You can also show joint account with your spouse only.

Accounts in the names of applicants / co-applicants is accepted - either individual or any combination/joint a/cs. However if even one of the joint account holder is not part of the application, its not accepted.
