Hello, I am new to the forum, but I just want to say that I really appreciate that an forum like that exists because it can help a lot with information about immigration to Canada. I am currently studying IT, more to be specific, studying to be an Analyst and Developer, and after finish college here at my country I was really thinking in trying to immigrate to Canada. The problem is that going to Canada without any permit, would be something really hard to do, for trying to stay as visitor and getting later an permit.

So, I was thinking if it's possible to try to get an work in Canada, but from outside, and enter in the country with an work permit. I saw that some people already did that, but I don't know if it would be possible for me to do after graduating from college. And being IT, it could be more hard or easy to find a job in Canada ? I know it would be truly hard, but I don't mind, I could try even for years but I just want to know if there is some chances to make this work out at the end.

PS: Doing the TOFL test would increase my chances of being hired ?

Others will comment but to be honest your chances as a new IT graduate of finding an employer to offer you a job and sponsor you for immigration are probably zero.

You might want to look at a study permit in a related IT field followed by a Post graduate work permit to gain work experience then follow through on immigration.

Other than that graduate from college spend a few years in your home country gaining IT work experience then look at applying to emigrate.

I really wanted to go to Canada after finishing my graduation here, but I guess its almost impossible to do that. Besides, there is no way for me to go through studying because I would have to have lots of money (more than 10k in canadian dollars) to go there with study permit, so I would have to stay here more years to get this money and only after that, apply for. So I guess my only options its to stay here more years and get experience then try to go to Canada with an work/study permit.
