I came to Toronto for a research internship, I forgot to ask my visitor record; is there another way available to ask for it??! I need it for my internship paying me.

You will very likely have to apply for extension of stay if you want a visitor record inland. Other option I can think of is to flagpole.

You need a work permit and SIN# for your work to pay you not a vistor record. An internship is considers a job.
