how can I come to Canada while waiting for PR

Hello everyone!
I am about to file my outland application to become a PR, sponsored by my husband who is Canadian. I am German and I was wondering how it will be possible to come to Canada before I get my PR status. I will stay in Germany until October 2016 for sure because I have to finish my law degree. But in between I would like to fly over an visit my husband. Germans can visit Canada without a Visa for up to 6 month I read. But what will happen after October 2016 when I have no reason to stay in Germany but didn't get my PR status yet?
I'm planning to start my Masters in Canada in September 2017. Can I get a study visa for that while applying for PR status? And how about the in between time? Can I just come visit without a visa as usual? I'm afraid border control won't let me in because I can't state sufficient reason why I would come back to Germany after 6 months.

1. you can tell CBSA that you applied for outland (present proof) and wanna stay with your husband.

If you gets only 6 month at the boarder, you can renew your visitor visa and receive up to a year ( sending proof of outland app with your renewal app)

2. you can apply for study permit while you are waiting for PR in Canada.
Applying for SP and PR is irrelevant so it would not affect your PR .

What floomy said, but don't worry about the study permit. You will have your PR long before sept. 2017. You could even have it before Oct. this year. Some people are getting through Vienna in 4 months.

Don't waste your money on a study permit, once you have the PR you will no longer have to pay international rates.

You said Vienna is going to process the application? But I have to send it to Mississauga first, is that right?
