Dear sir/mam,
I'm manish arora. I had applied for PR Canada on dec,2011 under pnp category at New Delhi Office.
Now I get visa in may,2012. At the time of getting visa , i was single. But now I get married in june,2012. Should i inform to Canadian embassy regarding my status change from single to married before leaving to canada. I want to know something more , is it possible that i can add my spouse in my case because i got a letter from embassy with my visa which shows that if my family status change then i have to return the visa and that family member should be examined.I can not understand some points which is written in the letter. Plz let me know the meaning of these paragraph which is written in letter:

your visa is valid only if all family members ( spouse, son or daughter) have been declared and examined. you must therefore inform us of:
- any change in your marital status or in your family composition
- any significant change in your health or physical fitness or that of a dependent
- any criminal charge or conviction since submitting your application

BEFORE you leave for canada : we will let you know what further procedures are required .

Failure to notify this office of any of the circumstances above , or a change in any of the circumstances above , could make you and / or your dependents inadmissible to canada. Landing without disclosing any of the above changes is a punishable offence and may lead to your removal from canada. All family members are required to be examined before you go to canada.

should your family status change , you must not only inform us with the necessary documentation, but also return the visa as it will no longer be valid for travel to canada. Presenting a visa and Confirmation of Permanent residence form ( IMM5292) which do not correspond to the reality of your situation Could result in the refusal of your admission to Canada. Any current family member not examined now can never be sponsored by you in the future.

Hope for the early reply from ur side.

with Regards
Manish Arora

You have to return the visa that you have been issued and inform CIC that you are now married. You must then submit all of the paperwork and supporting documentation for your new spouse. Once this information has been reviewed and approved by CIC, they will issued a new visa for both of you.

Do not land on the visa you have now. As stated in the letter, the visa you have now is no longer valid since it was issued when you were single and you are now married. If you make the huge mistake of landing on the visa you have now, two things will happen:

1) you will never be able to sponsor your spouse
2) you will be committing misrepresentation which could result in your PR status being revoked

Return the visa you have now and submit the paperwork for your spouse asap.

In order to accompany ur spouse you have to confirm the VO about your latest changes and hence may have to submit details of your spouse like background and family information. This would further delay your landing.

Why you had not waited for the visa and got married after getting visa and landed in Canada?

Would also suggest to get some advise from consultant on this. This is surely going to delay your landing in Canada :(
