How can I accompany my spouse to Canada

Hi All

Kindly advice me on my requirement..

Me and my husband together wish to come to Canada on a work permit (assuming it is the best possible way of entry as the requirement is of a job rather than immigration ) .My husband intends to apply for a

work permit from India. Can I accompany my husband to Canada on his work permit ?If so , what do I need to do while approaching consulate office in India ? If no , how can I join him ?Our

intention is to come together to Canada and may be later I can apply for my open work permit after reaching Canada .
