How can C.I.C verify my travel record?

Hello guys.
In my travel records in the Express Entry program, how am I supposed to prove I was in Malaysia (I studied there and I have degrees evaluated by WES) while my expired passport is taken by the government? Can CIC check my entries into Malaysia?
If, not, do I have to proof by myself?
I know about shared databases among U.S.A,Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and U.K, but how about my case-which is Malaysia?

You are not required to prove you were in Malaysia. But because you have mentioned that you studied there, you'll be asked to provide a certificate of good conduct from there.
