Hi everybody, i am a candidate to move across the ''big lake'' (from Croatia, am Croat by the way) to Canada this year, finally and am most interested in Vancouver (for climate and the BC provence itself) but not excluded possibility to Calgary,,,,, or Toronto if needed.I am pretty much introduced in Canada in generally since i was a kid, and now am 46-but still single guy or a young man (at least I still feel very young) and without kids (was never married yet),, so totally a self-playing one since my 19 y. of life.
As said here, I know really much about life in canada, geography, climate, economical situation across canada, met a lot of Canadians,
have even more of close relatives and people who once I used to know who live in Canada since long long ago (pitty they where not of any help to me about to move to canda) and they are all canadian citizens now in BC, and Alberta,.
-My general opinion about everything with Canada, upon what i heard, seen,, is very positive..
-I am not restricted as a visitor to Canada to a visitor visa, so I am eligible to enter to Canada as a visitor up to 6 months without the Visa (as am holder of croatian passpor9.
I can see sport, all sports, especially tennis, and even soccer, is enjoying in Canada a strong uprise. I am reading much about that on defferent forum and other sites. I am quite in a good athlete condition, not a smoker, and am a little crazy for playing tennis , and was always a good soccer goalkeeper,, and a heartfull skiier-but skiing i rather leave as a passion(for it's a little too late to risk if fel or so).
I studied almost all basic objects of general medicine, during my ex- dentistry study (the first 3 years,6 semesters, of the 5-year univ. programme of dentistry study),, so from the entira human anatomy across physiology and immunology(the famus 'Guyton') , biochemistry, microbiogy to pathology and pathophysiology , radiology etc.plus dentistry objetcs to even clinical conservative and fixed prosth. preparations........----------as I had money problemsn i was forced to break my study , thus it's quite far behind me now,,,and am not dreaming anymore of going for it anymore, although I had fallen in love with dentistry as a profession and my eventual profession.
-So, this was a little to improve to one who hears me now, that I am quite introduced in possibly enough quantity of human medicine to go for upgrade my knowledge in a kind of if not a sport medicne but in becoming a kind of a coach in tennis, fitness, wellnes, and may be in soccer goalkeeping.
I still feel much ready to play on amateur level.
--to put the accent that am a strong workholic one, almost a german type of a worker, and am concious that as a newcomer must be ready not to chose first jobs all untill have got a better one,, -i was a lot already across the EU (Germany, Ireland, Italy, Austria) as a temporary or saisonal worker, as student, thus am introduced how it usually works when one is a newcomer, but I agree it-and accept it as such.
-May be to accent as well: that I can speak the same good German and Italian as English ( based on IELTS graduation should be about 6,5 to 7). I am preparing to go for giving exam in my English knowledge IELTS this summer. My on preview of it on the IELTS showed that am ready to pass by 6,5 by now, and pssibly with a little bit stronger praparation in English would probably reach 7.
-My mother tongue is Croatian.
-I learned even norwegian language 10 y. ago, and got it a bit to be able to communicate in it basiclly. It happened regarding some ideas to find a job in N. and move there, but it didn't work out.
-Say something like i am talented to learn foreign languages, and they are all like a hobby to me,rather than a nightmare.
English language i have started seriously to learn when I was 13 y. and mostly on my own, thorugh books, cassettes,, films,,,
-And the french language i had for two years very seriously , and 20 years ago could speak nice, so still I can write and read well, and even use to communicate to French on occasion during summer in Croatia, working as manger in half-day excursions within croatian seaside touristic places.
-Surfing through different sites last weeks i found many different oportunities to work in sport industry in Canada, within the Toronto metro area indeed, but also in others.
--As I am also interested in sport, medical rehabilitation, and am studing the subject on my own as part of preparation for some course in massage therapy and fitness and wellness and for a tennis trainer exam---am strongly interested what one, from the same or similar field, from Canada would say on my intention???-what perspective could i hope on as a newcomer to canada???
--Let's say,, for the first time whether i'd be granted a job paid enough to plan of rising myself slightlyin Canada.
-I am practically ready to perform many different jobs::: hitting partner in tennis, cutting the grass on play fields, gardens,,,, doing instruction in tennis to beginners,,,,
I am also, qualified, and practiced in hospitality/tourism food and beverage serving industry, so every job with it am ready to work.
-I am even practiced in doing jobs on vegetable and fruits fields...
--Ad also to put the accent that am very experienced in car driving, long distances,nights and days,,
--So, my big question to one is: upon all you read here about me, and some more abilities-may be not told here,, if being personally present in canada, can I hope to relatively not too long searching for a job, or better said for a possible employer in Canada (and in which areas easier) who would agree to guarantee a work offer for me,needed for obtaining the working visa, or even immigrational one, say as semi-skilled or skilled worker??
