House fee question

So I am trying to rent a place and it's $900/month, but then I have to pay for gas/water/electricity with the person that lives with me. Or it's $950 with all included. Which option do you think is better since I am not sure how much those bills cost in Canada?

Pay the set fee and then you don’t have to worry about heating/gas/electricity bills that could be well over $50 per month depending on the season. You would have to ask people who are in the place now how much they pay if not paying a set rate.
