Hello, I'm desperate for some help!

I am on a 1 year IEC visa from the UK. I'm hoping to gain PR status by using Canadian Experience Class.
However it took me 2 months to get a job, so when my visa expires, I will have worked for 10 months.

I've been told that all I need is 1500 hours worked within a year. I will have that by the time my current visa expires in May.

Is there any hope here? I'm getting very worried!

You need 30 Hours per week, but you also need 12 months of Work.
Unfortunately, even if you manage to work more hours in 10 months, You will have to show a total of 12 months.

You'll need to work for 12 months - a day less than that will result in automatic refusal.

Stay or stay and work? In case of the former, given you are visa exempt, you can come and go as you wish as long as you don't intend to make Canada your primary country of residence.

If it's the latter, then you will need a work permit for which you would need a LMO.

I'm assuming you've research and it's not possible to get a second year IEC visa, is that right? I thought you could go to second and even third extension but maybe that's just for Ireland and doesn't apply to UK.

I can't get a 2nd IEC visa due to the age restriction. So you're basically saying right now it's game over?

No, you could find somewhere that has obtained an LMO so you can get a work permit. I've never done it but it's possible.

Nope, because you won't even get an AOR unless you have sufficient work experience, and you need an AOR for the bridging permit.

Weeks with less than 30 hours are not considered full time (even if your reference letter says your job is full time). Count number of hours now. Entire year has 52 weeks times 30 hours is 1560 hours. When you reach this number of hours you are good to go (but you must finish both - 1 year and also 1560 hours). Some people working more than 30 hours per week think they are eligible after reaching 1560 hours, which is wrong. 1 year work must also by finished.

More I try to finish my application, more I am confused I work for my company one year and four months. I have over 2000 hours.
In my work contract is mentioned I work full time. Is that enough?
I was sure I need really 52 weeks when I worked 30+ hours.
But I work in a ski resort so we have a dead season here when we work much less.
So now I have 21 payrolls (42 weeks) with 30+ hours, 4 payrolls (8 weeks) with 45+ hours - counting as 1,5 week? and 5 (10 weeks) payrolls with 30+ hours - counting as 1 week. All together is 53 weeks.
Am I good to go? I was sure this is the way to count my hours but now I am pretty confused..

Not sure I follow your calculations.

For each week that you worked 30 hours or more, count it as one full-time week.

For all the weeks that you worked less than 30 hours, add up all those hours, then divide that by 30 to get your equivalent full-time weeks (e.g. 24 hours for 10 weeks = (24 × 10) ÷ 30 = 8 full-time weeks).

How about going on implied status even though they are going to refuse your application for work permit without LMO ? I think that should get you extra 2 months if you apply to CIC by mail. Although if you will get refusal you will have to pay 220$ for restoration status and probably go back to the UK but at the end of the day you will be able to apply for CEC with one year of experience.

Although you have to verify this with senior members.
