hong kong visa post

I am from india. Under qsw program I got file number on august 2014.my visa post is hongkong. Why. And whats the advantages and disadvantages of that. And when will be the interview. In honkong or in india?
What level of french is needed.

Dear Twinkle,

Actually Hong Kong is one of the Visa offices for applicants from many Asian countries including India. There is no much advantages for this and the main disadvantage is the long process time. Nearly 41 months as per their official website.The chances of interview depends upon your AOT,total points, French proficiency etc. Basically French is not mandatory for applying QSW program. But if you are interviewed by them, then it is the decision making factor ! So it is better to start learning french from Alliance Francaise".
