Hello again,
I plan on attending post secondary school in BC once my documents go through, but I was curious what financial aid situation I would be in. I know generally student aid is done through your home province, but being raised in the US I would assume I don't have one, correct? Or would my home province be the province my father's home province?
Thanks!

For financial aid I believe you have to have resided in the province for 12 months continously prior to applying; that's what I was required to, but perhaps it'd be different since you weren't raised here? Otherwise I'd just believe you have to live here for 12 months before becoming eligible. Have you checked https://studentaidbc.ca/ ?

Hm, it said I had to reside in BC for 12 months not including time as a full time student. Does this mean that only the summer counts as time I am not a student? That would be real crappy haha

If you're a full-time student during the academic year (e.g. September-April for post-secondary), then that time doesn't count toward the residency requirement. You'd have to stay out of school for the year or be a part-time student.
