Holidays allowed for Self-Employed Person

Hi all,

I worked as an self employed IT consultant in Ireland and am wondering how many weeks a year is allowed for someone to take vacation for if it is still to be considered as continious employment (for the one year of continious employment).

Difficult question - CIC requirement as one year of continous employment in a calender year is 1950 working hours.....so if you think even after taking holidays you have still worked for 1950hrs then you are eligible to qualify. CIC has not defined any holidays breaks allowed in one calender year so you will have to determine this on your own.
