I already apply pr my file in Sydney Nova Scotia
I have visa and work permit till November 2015
I came in India and spending holiday ( 7 weeks )


My question when I will arrive Toronto airport , cbs officer will give me had time ????

Need advise

Considering you have a valid work permit and travel visa, I do not see a reason why cbs officer should give you a hard time.

My PGWP was expiring on 20th Aug and i arrived back to Canada on 18th July. I had not even applied for CEC by then and only 1 month was left for PGWP to expire but I did not face any issues. Infact, the agent was very curteous and asked me if i wanted to apply for WP extension he would divert me to the other line.

So i guess you need not worry

To my understanding if I have valid visa and work permit
It should not problem enter

Dont worry. There should be no problems at all.

If you are coming from Pakistan for the first time on work visa, make sure you have "protector stamp" on your passport otherwise the FIA creates issues. I faced the same at Karachi airport but in Canada everything went smooth.

The matter whether CBS officer will give u a hard time or not sometimes just varies, depending on your luck, honesty, and justifications for all the questions you provided. The priorities of these CBS officers are to secure the border, through monitoring safe entry of visitors and goods. So they will follow procedures and use their expert judgements in evaluating you as a threat or not. If you can help them by bringing all the proper documentations ready and declare all your belongings, everything should be smooth. By making their job easier, you are actually helping yourself...

I also had 7 weeks vacation this year and I didn't face any problem in Canada airport. They didn't even ask me my reason of visit or anything. I was on PGWP which supposed to expire within 5 months.

As Retwant said, it is a matter of luck. CBSA officer might give you a very hard time or hardly even acknowledge you....

Be honest if you are asked.

Well people do take non-paid vacations plus i have had friends who had lived in pakistan for 6 months on work ermit. While they were allowed to work remotely by their companies. So i dont think border agents are going to drill so much.

I spent almost a year on my PGWP in Pakistan as a vacation and I wasn't asked any questions when I came back. Good luck and don't panic.

Just be ready with all necessary documents, and be confident & clear. The more you worry in front of them, the more reasons for them to question you. Provide these CBSA officers with simple, concise, and straightforward answers, and your entry process should be much smoother. Some of them could be having a tough day, so being nice to them might help yourself...
