Holds an MBA but applying for a post degree diploma

Hello guys, I have a degree with a second class upper division in Finance. I also had an executive MBA all from Nigerian Universities. I have been accepted by a Canadian Institutions for a one year full time Financial Mgt Diploma in line with my first degree. I have funds to cover both Tuition and living expenses. I have over ten years working experience in a Financial institution in my country.
My concern is, will holding an MBA not affect my study permit application. I really need to get back on track with my background in Finance.

Challenge is likely how do you show that already having a degree in Finance and an MBA that a PG in Finance significantly enhances your current qualifications/work experience in finance and is not just a repeat/ refresher chosen because it is in Canada. This especially given 10 years finance experience immigration will want a strong case on the course objectives stronger than just getting back on track
