I am a Live-in-caregiver applicant from the Philippines. Im done with my medical examination last Nov. 2011 that's the only time that i found out that i am an HIV positive.I am regularly having my check ups since then Im already taking ARV's.I am in good health. The Canadian embassy already sent me a request for CD4 and viral load count and i submitted the test results last nov. 2012. My CD4 is high and my viral load is low but not on the undetectable numbers...and until now I am still waiting for the embassy's response..I am in agony because I do not know if they are going to deny me for a working visa or are they going to grant me...I read the CIC rules on HIV foreign workers and its tricky. My employer is actually my sister and she is aware of my health status and we are still waiting until now for the decision of the Canadian embassy. I just would like to know if there are people here who knows or people who already experienced what im experiencing right now regarding on my application, and i just want to know if they have granted a visa or denied a visa for HIV foreign worker?Although i know that it is a case-to-case basis. Im hoping that someone could help me.thank you so much in advance.
