I was diagnosed with ptb in sept 2017 and took treatment for a year. After the completion of the medication i got report as no active tb, followed up with my pulmonologist after 6 months. There is still a scar in my lungs in the recent xray I took in April, 2019. I'm applying for student visa and my medical examination from panel of doctors is on may 31st. My college starts in September. How many months will it take to complete the medical examination and get the visa? Will a sputum test be taken and an x-ray after 3 months? From what I've read in the forum, there will be a sputum test and a x-ray after three months. I'm a little late on applying. Since my classes start in September, will the visa be delayed? Will the recent xray be considered during the medical examination? Please advice on the process and the timings.
