if you're pursuing a master's,that means you have the equivalent of a bachelor's degree.
i believe that's at least 20 points

That is correct. At least 20 points provided you have the required number of years of education.
Once you finish your MBA, you could get upto 25 points.

Your 3 Years Degree, will earn you 20 Points provided you have completed at least 14 years full-time or full-time equivalent studies

"Obtained a university degree of two years or more at the bachelor's level and completed at least 14 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies"

and the 2 years Professional diploma will also earn you 20 Points

"Obtained a two-year diploma, trade certificate or apprenticeship and completed at least 14 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies"

However, like Rupesh mentioned earlier on, once you finish your MBA, you could get up to 25 points.

So it is up to you to decide whether you want to apply now or when you finish your MBA.
Bear in mind that you can claim points for only 1 out of the 2. Also, take into consideration the NOC that you may be thinking of using to apply.

Have you completed your bachelor's degree? If so and if it is assessed to be equivalent to Canadian Bachelor's degree then you will get 21 points. In no case you will get 22 points because your 3 years diploma is after your 10th grade and therefore is NOT post-secondary. 22 points require 2 post-secondary degrees (that is, after the completion of 12th grade equivalent).
