I have searched for, and read, all of the previous threads on high blood pressure. But looking for some advice on the timing of my medical.
I have until the middle of February to complete my PR application. My main worry is my blood pressure. I have bought a home testing machine and my blood pressure is 121/96. So my diastolic pressure is too high (probably because of diet recently).
I'm guessing this could cause me problems at the medical. But my real question is...if I presented with this blood pressure at the medical, and CIC required further checks, do these further checks also have to be completed within the original 60 days? Or would I get an extension for this?
I'm trying to decide whether to do my medical ASAP or wait a few weeks and try to get my diastolic value to 90 (which is still over 120/80 but is not classed as high blood pressure in the UK).
Any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks
