please can u tell me which province will nominate without job verification or work experience??????? I dont mind moving to those province. I currently works in Ontario but working with employment agency and counting my hours to get the required hours to apply as cec. I dont know if ontario will nominate me if i decide to apply as pnp since i am working for agency. pls let me know. thanx

I am not sure if there is any province can nominate you without any job experience. But I know Saskatchewan has a program called Hospitality Sector Pilot Project. Basically, you need to work as one of following occupation. Maybe it will be easier for you to seek this kind jobs rather than technical jobs which falls under (NOC O A B). The below jobs are all either NOC C or D.


Food/Beverage Server (NOC 6453)

Food Counter Attendant/Kitchen Helper (NOC 6641)

Housekeeping/Cleaning Staff (NOC 6661)

Manitoba, too, does not require you to have a job offer. Please google the info.

yeah, i am now looking into manitoba pnp process. I have to find out what they need to nominate. I currently works in ontario for employment agencies as a registered practical nurse ( NOC 3233, level B) looking forward to apply for cec before summer time. my current pgwp expires august 2013. i am scared of cec because so many people are getting refusals. I wouldnt want to take chances because it was tough for me studied and pay all applicable international student fees. i wont know where to start from again if i wont be considered. so i have to see other options that i have to immigrate incase if cec becomes tougher..

Honestly, there is nothing to scare about. In my view, CEC should be the easiest and fastest for those applicants who had Canadian experience across Canada.

CEC is pass or fail basis, plus there are only few aspects they can check(Education, Language, Work experience, Security, and Medical) Besides those, I couldn rarely think anything else they could check on.

As you can see, the most of people got refusal is because they didn't provide employment letter or not sufficient information included.
So if you have the job letter including all key points on the checklist, you should feel confident to apply through CEC.

You do realize that your NOC is on the "demand" list for Federal Skilled worker? That with one year of work experience, you can apply under FSW Cetegory 1?

Thanx Jes for the links that u provided. I knew about hfojobs.ca and I have been applying for jobs through the website but got only one interview. The interview i got was when i graduated in 2010. It was a very successful phone interview and the job was at sudbury but at the end i lost the job because i couldnt get 3 references that they required. i managed to get only 2 references and it was not enough for them. since then, i have been applying thousands of times without success. if not for agency, i wouldnt be working at all. i have sent thousands of resumes without success. They always advertise jobs, but when u apply, no one will contact u. i am still looking for permanent position. i know that nurses are high in demand but lots of people are already in the field that's why it is hard to find job. i feel frustrated at times but what can i do?. i ended up now with 2 agencies and have acquired like 1600hrs all together. i am still hoping to get all hours b4 summer but sometimes, jobs are slow. i will be writing my ielts this saturday and i've been restless. hope to pass and get rid of it. immigration have been tough for me since i came here 8yrs ago and this skilled worker is the only hope that i have to immigrate otherwise i dont know what the future will hold for me. my pgwp expires in august 2013

i am just expressing my concerns and feelings and i appreciate all your kindness and concerns. pls if u have any other advice for me, i am all ears as i believed that u are more experienced than i do. Thanx and have a wonderful day

As far as I know, Alberta has a high demand for RN and PNP process is also straight forward.I got my PNP, even though I was working through a placement agency. To be on a safer side you can apply under both CEC and PNP

I am in Edmonton, Alberta.and I got PNP under skilled worker category while I was working through an agency. The best way would be to call Ontario PNP office and ask them , they will let you know if they except agencies or not.
