I need your advice.I landed in canada in October 2016. Now I am going to my home country in February2017 with my spouse and kid for a period of one year. I am getting child benefits for my child.So I want to know that if there is any problem in reapplying for child benefits once we will return back to canada after one year. Will I be eligible to reapply for child benefits as I will be non resident for whole 2017.

You should inform them that you will be out of Canada for one year and request to stop the child benefit for this period.
Same thing applies for the health card.

You will be eligible to reapply once you are back.
