Hi.
I stay in Montreal as a student visa. And it will be expired on next March.
From this May, I lived with my girl friend. She is a Canadian.
She wants to sponsor me by common law in next year. But for some reasons, my study visa can not be extended.
So I need help to ask a type of visa to stay in Montreal from next March to May then we can do the common law.

Do you live with your girl friend since may 2023 and have proof of cohabitation with her under both names for at least 12 months such as, bills, insurance, rent... etc?
If so, you will officially become common law partner in may 2024.

NB: If you complete your study, you can opt to a graduate work permit. If not, you can ask for tourist status. Check a legal services
