hi..how recent should a bank statement/certificate be.

I read a post on this forum saying that the bank statement should be of the previous day.

Q1) Want to confirm that.

Q2) which is better a bank certificate with the bank manger's seal or the electronic statement from the ATM machine.

if a electronic statement should be as recent as 1 day before it is not a problem coz it can be done from any ATM even before boarding the flight. So that would make it the most recent fund.
I guess that would be difficult if it is a bank certificate.
