I got the offer letter frm Fanshawe college in spp category for May 2018 intake. Now I'm about to file my study permit in VFS. My dad is my sponsor here and we are remain to file his ITR of last 2 years as I heard it's not need to attach itr as we are showing GIC certificate.However, my agent said that it is mandatory to show ITR with amt 7-8 lacks per year as they got the update frm "High Comission", without itr visa officer will reject my application, but when I talked to one student frm fanshawe who got admitted in may 2017 this year, he said it's redundant to attach ITR with the visa application. I am not sure who is right here. So my question is, is it really necessary to attach itr or we can skip and show fd's and GIC? And is it true that canada embassy make a rule overnight to attach itr with the study permit application? It's really conflicted as I'm not able to decide wht to do now. I would really appreciate if someone consider my concern and tell me do I really need ti ti attach itr with my visa application. Please reply. Thanks!
