Hi all,
I need advice from all those who sucessfully applied or in the process of applying citizenship.Hope someone can throw some advice here.
Question 6E on the citizenship application it says the following:-
List all the addresses in canada and foreign addresses in the last 4 years.if you were residing,employed or attending school outside canada in the last 4 years,you must also indicate all your foreign addresess.

Does it mean that we need to include the addresses if gone on a holiday?vacation to visit family back home (these trips were to home country(around 3mths) and US(around 2mths )PS:- But had a canadian all the time even when gone on a vacation.
The CIC wants a breakdown for each month.

Question 6F For work and Education history for the last years.
What should one write if you were unemployed but at the same time were on a holiday.Since the CIC needs a breakdown for each month
for the last 4 years.
So should we mention Year and mth and under work education can we write unemployed(On Vacation) then city/country.

I am aware that we also need to fill the residency calculator sheet. But again CIC also wants us to write under the Qusetions 6E address history for the last 4 years and Question 6F Employment history.

The CIC agent was not clear since each time they hada different answer.

6E - You don't have to list holiday addresses if your primary residence was in Canada. However, if you were out of Canada for some time, it's better to put more information (and include an explanation if necessary. If you were working outside Canada you MUST list your addresses, even if it was temporary.

6F - Account for all time, don't leave any gaps. If you were on vacation, say that.

Note you need to list all absences from Canada on the residency calculation, even if it was a vacation. Use the online calculator - it's much easier:
