yes since you are a full time student in Canada your wife can apply for open work permit and work for any employer once she is here.

Things do not add up? Your going to graduate this year and also get married later in December. You should be happy not depressed. Is part of you marriage contract that you have to get your new husband a work visa for Canada? That is the way it appears to me and that is the way it will appear to the VO.

If all your paper work is correct, your husband to be will eventually get a visa and work permit for Canada but it will not be as straight forward as you think and there are many pitfalls you need to avoid.

I shoot from the hip.

Hi all,

I tend to agree with matchpak considering that you are not yet married and that the family information form you filled did not include the spouse details. Its alittle bit treaky. Could you ahve filled his details in advance would have been easier beacuse the VO has got his details in your file.To them your husband and you are still strangers who can break up any time.

Anyway its all at the descreation of the visa officer to decide. But still be strong and creative and have strong points.

Also make sure you have things that shows that you havw stayed with him and only wants to formalise the marriage.Any kids, property,

thanks
