I was having problems with a) company I onced worked closed down, b) No idea who owner was c) No letter of work.

You should be able to find all lists of liquidated companies from UK with printable notices.

Thanks so much for posting this. I found the company I used to work for that had ceased trading. Didn't have a clue how I was going to prove my employment but this should do nicely.
