Hi! I just wanna know, my friend is going to sponsor her husband soon. She was under the live in caregiver program but now, she is now a permanent resident here in Canada. Her husband has a hepa B.. will he be denied to come here?? Do you know anyone who has hepa B & got approve??
shes worried :(

Any info is a big help!

thanks!

Having Hepatitis B is generally not grounds for rejection even in economic classes. For most people it is asymptomatic. A small percentage of people require treatment, but a sponsored spouse is "excessive demand exempt" so even if it required treatment it would not be a bar to sponsored residency.

So, based upon the information you have provided, I would not expect this to be an issue that leads to rejection.
