Hello, how should a father has a sponsor have in his account that he can tender in the canadian embassy for his child to be given a study permit visa. After paying for the 1st semester of the child?

1. First year tuition, $10K living expenses and $2-$3K for travel.

My fees for the whole year is $17k wit the living and travelling expenses totaling $13k.

So my sponsor should have $30k in total in his account for me to apply or above that?
