Hello everyone
I really need your guide coz I am losing time

A) in cic :

Proof of relationship:
Submit proof of relationship to your close relative in Canada, such as birth, marriage or adoption certificates. For
example, to prove that your relative in Canada is your paternal aunt, it would be necessary to submit copies of birth
certificates for her and for your father showing they have at least one common parent.

B)
I need to get 5 points from my relative ( uncle from my father side) , I can prove his citizenship and residency , but in his recent trip he forgot to bring his birth certificate ...I only have his passport and my father birth certificate

then my documents will be :

1-proof of relation : his passport+ my father's BC (which indicates same ( surname \ FATHER NAME \place of birth ))

2-copy of citizenship card

3-tax bill
electricity bill
gas bill

in this case
1-my uncle's passport shows his ( surname \ FATHER NAME \place of birth )
2-my father's birth certificate shows his ( surname \ FATHER NAME \place of birth )

which indicates same ( surname \ FATHER NAME \place of birth ) is that enough to prove he is my uncle ?

Agreed. As I said in my earlier response to you - you need the birth certificate. A passport doesn't provde anything. It should be easy for your uncle to scan his birth certificate and email this document to you.

I think parents' name are not shown on passport, right? In this way, you do not have enough evidence to show your father and uncle are both with same parents.

Birth certificate is mandatory, and I know that it may not be easy to retrieve from your uncle because he is now in Canada. Please consult your the household registration office (or other office that can give BC) and see if there is any alternative.

Do not give VO any reason to return/reject your application.

Dears , thank you so much for your responds :)

buy getting his BC is not that simple for me coz
- I have to translate his BC ..therefore I need his ORIGINAL BC to be translated OFFICIALLY ..thus just a scanned copy is not enough :(

Dear naticom
2-yes in his passport HIS FATHER'S NAME ( not mother's name ) is shown ..

still u think its not enough ?

He is right. Dont give them any excuse to return ur file.
Plus wat if u apply and later on they email u to provide the BC or may be they dont give u that extra 5 points tht u really need.

U can also ask uncle to courier u.

I have another question if I get more point from IELTS...do they still reject my application because of inefficient relation proof documents? even if I get 67 without relative point?

If u get 67 points its enough. Added points are always advantage. And relative abroad makes the case strong bt u need all the doc evidence to proof the relation.
