Ok so me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 years we talked on msn, Skype , Facebook, texted, called all of that. Then we decided we wanted to meet so we planned a visit for him to come here, during that time his grandmother kicked him out. So we stuck with the plan to get him to come here and he came here with a one way ticket.. he doesn't have a job and really doesn't have a return address since he has no where to return to back in Texas. He was granted 3 months and given a Visitor Record.. now it's coming to the time where he has to leave but we don't want him to leave and not only that he really doesn't have anywhere to go. He's 18.. we plan to get married once he turns 19 in a few days but his time in Canada expires before he turns 19 so we can't get married as of yet. When he arrived in Canada I was told by the Customs agent that if I just drove into the states and stayed there with him for 24 hrs then came back that would be fine. Does anyone know if that's true? Have any of you tried it? He's supposed to leave July 31st. On his Visitor Record it says that he is supposed to return to the Airport where he flew in from and show proof of departure on the 31st, and that it does not authorize re- entry to Canada. I planned to take him to the states (Bellingham, Washington) it's only a 20 min drive or so. and stay there till aug 2nd/ 3rd and then try to bring him back.. Hoping he gets another 3/6 months visit which will give us enough time to get married and then I can start the application process to sponsor him. Does anyone have any advice? will this work? any info would be helpful.. thanks!
