Hello Everyone,

I'll try to keep this short, We're both 25 yrs old and engaged. She was working in Qatar for 3 years almost and when i visited her there in march of this year we got engaged. Due to her brother's health, she is back in Philippines now to take care of him and the family. We've known each other for more than 5 years now. Now my elder brother is getting engaged and married soon and my parents have asked me if she can come and be part of this great occasion.

We both have decided that we will apply for TRV/Visit Visa for her and we did the questionnaire online and she got the code to apply online. Now we've decided to be honest in disclosing our relationship and state that she will be coming here to attend my brother's wedding so she can get to know my family and the traditions/cultures as well. we've decided that the stay will be for 3 weeks only... she still has a working visa in Qatar as she can return to the job whenever she wants and also she will be returning back to take care of her family as she is the only source of income but I want her to come here and be a part of my family.

Ive read a lot of negative messages here about how its impossible but i will still go ahead and take my chances. I was going to write a letter of invitation for her but i wanted to make sure about the money we have in our bank accounts will be enough. I have roughly 4k and she got another 3k in CAD dollars. I will take care of all the expenses for her (which will be a good thing right?) she has her whole family there... she has good travel history and a working visa in Qatar.

I just need some tips and advises as to what else I need to add from my end in the letter of invitation as well as other documents to make our case stronger

What else she needs to add to make her case stronger? I have a good paying job (40k) no dependents and stuff

PS. Do I need to notarize my letter of invitation for her online application? Ive read mixed answers

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thank you

Three weeks for a wedding is too much also three weeks when you are saying she is needed back home due to her brother being ill shows that she is not that needed.

I would recommend, one week two tops.

Too little for 3 weeks. Saying you will take care of her expenses shows she needs your support which gives her more reasons not to leave at the end of her stay.
