Dear all,
I am currently a last year management and public policy student at the university of Malta, in Malta, a small island in the Mediterranean, leading to a bachelors degree.I am an Ethiopian and my Husband is a Serbian who works in construction as an electrician in Malta. I was planning to further my studies in Canada or find a Job in Canada or both if possible. I wanted to ask you whether it would be possible to take my husband with me to Canada in case i get a visa?

I really appreciate your cooperation
Hope to hear from you all soon
Regards

Yes you can. If you are approved as an International student, you can bring your family members with you. My recommendation is, if you are applying for study permit, apply for you first, then after approval, you can make a request for your family members. Usually when you apply for all the family at once, the officer sees it as a risk because you are moving with all the family and the risk of not going back to your home country is eminent. You can overcome that impression applying in stages. A Friend's family have just arrived to join him while he is studying. He enrolled in January. After arriving he applied for his family members through the College's International Student Advisor.

Good Luck!!
