FOR ONLINE APPLICATION

I already got two emails from CIC stating this message:

"Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your MyCIC account and check your application status and messages for more information."

-but when I logged in to mycic account nothing was change in my status or message... i cant find any update or new message... also the date when the last update of cic was still the same... T.T

-Anyone who knows any way to know what was updated? Coz they might be requesting for additional documents already T.T

I also received that message about 4-5 times while I was waiting for my work permit application.
Every time I checked there weren't any changes made to my application, must me a glitch of some sort. Hang in there. You'll get it approved eventually.

-yeah still hanging on. I already send an inquiry about it and they told me that my application was received and still under process... might as well believe that there's no update or any request for additional documents yet... thanks!

Yup, in my case there were no updates whatsoever. Hang in there!

It's a glitch, happened to me as well. I ended up getting the approval a week later.

A week later? Its not even a week after my application was submitted. I'm still waiting for the request of PCC and medical exam. Hope it will come soonest.

Keep disregarding the emails and check your MyCIC periodically for updates.

I just sent them (CIC Riyadh) an enquiry regarding this concern. I think they must be aware about this glitches. It is causing us to panic and increase anxiety as well.

I am currently on the same situation. I applied for new work permit for new employer inside canada last week, then after 1 day, I received an email saying that my application has been updated. When I checked mycic, nothing has been updated. 3 days later, I received another the same email. I'm still waiting for the decision on my work permit application. Does anyone of you know if the processing time for application for work permit made inside canada online is accurate? It says it only takes 12 days. thanks.

My case is a bit different. I have received medical report request on 11th April. Then on 12th of April I got a message that your application has been updated. When I go to the myCIC account it shows your action is required and when I check the message it shows:

Application Status Open
Review of medical results We need your medical information
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
Review of biometric information Not needed at this time
A final decision has been reached Not Started

Please explain what does it mean? I already had my medicals on 12th of April. Do I have to tell them that I have done the medicals? how do I get the acknowledgement for medical?

Just wait for few more days.. coz i think it will take 3-4 days before the cic will receive the result of your medical... your mycic acount will be updated one they got the result.

Hi I also submitted my TRV online here in Riyadh and got 2 messages that my application has been updated but when I checked in My CIC, not changes at all. I filed last April 3 and until now no news...

what happened to your application btw?
