Help!work permit issue

I just recently arrived in Ontario.

My noc code and title : 6471 visiting homemaker (lmia processedby consultant)

My work permit has remarks that goes:

Applicant is not part of lcp, nor eligible to apply PR under this program.

Am I eligible to apply under the new pathway, caring for person with high needs?

No - you don't qualify under people with high medical needs. To do that, you'd need to be under one of the NOCs listed here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/caring-medical/apply-who.asp

Unfortunately you also don't qualify under new pathways.

So even if visiting homemaker version 2006 is same as 4412 visiting homemaker of 2011 which is used in new pathways, still i am nkt eligibel to apply?

One thing, my friend who came in Canada have the same code 6471 but title of home support worker. She doesn't have any remarks in her work permit.

Hi Mhady, I arrived last June 2016 in Canada and my work permit does not have any remarks to..I am under new pathway

I am with the same situation. NOC code 6471 and caring for elderly persons since 17 April,2017. With the same remark on my work permit. I am worried about it too. Did you find any solution for it. Do you have any idea that can we apply under this category? After fulfilling other requirements. Please post your answer if you have any information about it. Thank you
